THE MEN OF PRINCIPLE INITIATIVE

On August 8, 1839, eight men at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio were drawn together by the desire to form an organization with a bond like no other. One hundred and sixty-four years later, Beta Theta Pi has initiated over 200,000 men and grown to over one hundred and twenty chapters and colonies throughout North America. We, the Beta Pi chapter of Beta Theta Pi, take great pride in our rich tradition with Beta Theta Pi, as well as with the University of Minnesota.

The Beta Pi Chapter at the University of Minnesota and its brothers are guided by the Men of Principle initiative. The Men of Principle initiative is a set of nine goals that aid us in the betterment of our daily lives, our efforts to succeed in all aspects of fraternal life, and the recruitment of outstanding prospective members.

Under The Initiative, our chapter has grown to over 50 active members, making us one of the largest fraternities on campus.
Please take this opportunity to learn about us through our website. Look though the site, as well as the Rush FAQ, and Beta Facts and Firsts pages designed especially for you. We include guests and potential recruits at many of our events, and we welcome you to join us. There's many ways you can get familiar with Beta, just give us a call, email us, or stop on by the house at 1625 University Avenue.

We look forward to seeing you soon,
