AWARDS

While Beta Pi always concentrates on adhering to our core principles like brotherhood, academics, and community service, we also take great pride in the recent honors and awards that have been bestowed upon our chapter.

Recent awards include being named a Sisson Award winning chapter in 2006 by the General Fraternity, which brings Beta Pi's total number of Sisson Awards up to ten. Sisson awards are given by the General Fraternity to chapters who excel in a number of various aspects of fraternity life. Beta Pi has also received 2 John Riley Knox Awards, which is the highest honor a chapter can hold.

In addition to these awards, Beta Pi has also received the following awards in the past:

-"Greek Chapter of the Year at the University of Minnesota"

-"The North Dakota Award" for outstanding chapter publication

-"The Wichita State Award" for outstanding live vocal group performance

-"The Campus Involvement Award" for dedication to serving the surrounding community.

In addition to winning these awards, Beta Pi also does well during the Homecoming and Spring Jam competitions. This past year, Beta Pi, along with Sigma Chi, Alpha Phi, and Pi Beta Phi won the Spring Jam band competition and placed second in the ballyhoo competition.

Although Beta Pi takes great pride in the awards it has received, it is always looking forward. The chapter not only hopes to obtain these awards in the future but to do even greater things.
